Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area CVB Releases 2015 Official Visitors Guide
Southern Pines, NC (PRWEB) January 22, 2015 -- The Pinehurst, Southern Pines, Aberdeen Area Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) released its annual Official Visitors Guide for 2015. Produced in conjunction with CompassMedia, Inc., Gulf Shores, AL, the guide is a resource for visitors and residents alike to learn more about the towns and village that comprise Moore County and includes information about attractions and events that draw visitors to the Home of American Golf®. Known for its championship golf courses, the area also has an equally impressive equestrian appeal. Area businesses who advertise in the guide enjoy additional exposure to consumers through live links on the digital version of the guide found on http://www.homeofgolf.com.
“This year’s guide is one of the most comprehensive and visually pleasing we’ve produced in recent years,” according to Claire Phillips, CVB Director of Marketing. “The photography showcases the character and ambiance of the area as never before.”
Acknowledging the foodie craze, the guide suggests dining options for various appetites – vegan, meat eater, fine dining, and farm-to-fork that are found in local, independently-owned establishments. It also includes activities for families, and things to do that don’t come with a price tag. Of course maps are included as well as guides for golf courses and lodging located in Moore County.
“This year we challenged ourselves to translate the guide’s engaging photos, informative editorial and user-friendly resources to a smaller size. The result is a vibrant guide that captures the spirit of the destination and is easy to carry with you as you explore the destination,” Chad Kirtland, Content Director at CompassMedia. Three separate covers will be used throughout the year to spotlight golf, equestrian and Sandhills life.
The guides are distributed at consumer golf shows, AAA offices, official NC Visitor Centers, the local Visitor Information Center and businesses, and are included in welcome packets for large groups such as US Kids Golf. The CVB will distribute approximately 60,000 guides over the next 12 months.
