Prosell, the workplace coaching specialists, is launching a monthly blog “Coaching for Success” to celebrate 30 years of helping organisations around the world improve the performance of their sales and customer services teams. Over the past three decades, Prosell has trained over 10,000 frontline managers to become effective workplace coaches and is well placed to provide advice that can really make a difference. The blog will provide practical tips and tools to support businesses wishing to introduce or improve the coaching skills of their frontline managers.

“We know that if we train frontline managers to become confident, competent workplace coaches – the impact on the business can be astounding,” Guy Sellwood, Managing Director of Prosell U.K and Vice President Prosell US.

Guy Sellwood and Deb Brown, the authors of the “Coaching for Success” blog recognise that supervisory staff and frontline managers play an invaluable role in improving the performance of a business.

“We know that if we train frontline managers to become confident, competent workplace coaches – the impact on the business can be astounding,” explains Guy Sellwood, Managing Director of Prosell U.K and Vice President Prosell US . “Over the years, we have helped organisations realize sales improvements of 50%-200%, increased customer retention in excess of 40% and significantly reduce employee attrition.”

The monthly blog “Coaching for Success” will provide practical tips and tools for improving the coaching skills of frontline managers. The subjects tackled will range from managing change in a business, coaching high performers and modifying attitudes and beliefs. The first blog “Why coaching is one of the greatest capabilities that a sales or customer service team can possess” sets the tone. Resistance to change and how supervisors and team managers can overcome this resistance will be explored.

“Coaching in the workplace is an on-going challenge,” says Deb Brown, Senior Consultant for Prosell USA. “Our monthly blog is intended to be a go-to resource for supervisory staff and frontline managers to provide inspiration and advice for situations that these people regularly face.”

“At Prosell, we believe that a coaching culture acts as a glue to hold a physically disparate organisation together,” concludes Guy Sellwood. “We work with many organisations, whose employees are located around the world. By introducing workplace coaching to these different units, the consistent values, the mutual understanding and a common approach of frontline staff and managers being embedded throughout the organisation, can deliver fantastic results.
