Twenty-Year Healthcare Veteran Judy Wackenhut, BSN, MSN To Expand New Business Opportunities

URAC, a leader in promoting healthcare quality through accreditation, education, and measurement programs appointed Judy Wackenhut director of business development and sales.

“Judy has successfully managed and developed sales teams, prospected, and built new business in national accounts, and implemented innovative sales tactics,” said Kylanne Green, chief executive officer of URAC. “She is results-oriented and highly collaborative, which makes her a strong cultural fit at URAC.”

Wackenhut, an experienced business development professional, with a history of sales and marketing excellence in the healthcare environment possesses a comprehensive background in account management, institutional sales, relationship management and team development. As a strategic sales leader with proficiency in developing tailored programs she has demonstrated expertise in developing client relationships and implementing actionable plans.

“I feel privileged to be joining URAC,” said Wackenhut. “URAC is an organization which validates and substantiates the quality of healthcare services and programs across the United States and the world which is imperative in our rapidly changing healthcare environment.”

Prior to joining URAC, Wackenhut was area director of hospital account managers at Otsuka Pharmaceuticals and national account manager at Bayer Healthcare Pharmaceuticals. At both organizations she developed and implemented programs and plans that resulted in significant sales increases. Wackenhut spent the first twenty years of her career in clinical practice. Wackenhut also serves on the Auburn University Research Advisory Board

Wackenhut holds both a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Science in nursing from Catholic University.
