Quick guide on the updated U.S. travel policies to Cuba effective January 16, 2015.

Blue Vida Travel offers a quick reference on the new regulations for U.S. Citizens travelling to Cuba.

*U.S. Citizens no longer need a permit from the OFAC to travel

*U.S. Banks are allowed to do business with Cuban Banks
    *Eventually credit cards will work in Cuba once the banks iron out the details
    *For now, take USD and convert to CUC upon arrival

*U.S. Citizens can travel to Cuba however commercial air service is not yet available from the States
    *Charter flights can be arranged
    *Schedule air service available from Mexico, Bahamas, Grand Cayman, Canada, etc.

*U.S. Citizens can spend $100 on alcohol & tobacco
