McKinney, TX (PRWEB) January 23, 2015
FindUrVoice(FUV) is a group of young passionate artists from BHMusic Studios driven to use their voice to help the voiceless be heard. Collaborating with Traffick911 & The A21 Campaign, they are committed to educating others and raising awareness about the inhumane reality of human trafficking in the United States including those in their own backyard here in North Texas. FindUrVoice kicked off their DFW concert tour November 16, 2014 in Frisco, TX. The next concert on the tour is February 8th, 2015 at Preston Trail Community Church in Frisco, TX.
Every 30 seconds a new victim is put into human trafficking and only 1% of victims are ever saved, reports the A21 Campaign. According to Homeland Security, Texas is the #2 state for the trafficking of our children. “With numbers like these we can not be silent.” Sohnya Cope, parent of FindUrVoice artist Sydney Cope. “This is our time to find our voice and be a voice for the voiceless. A single voice can make a difference. No matter how young that voice is.” said Bridgette Hammers, CEO of BHMusic Studios & FUV founder.
FindUrVoice founding artist, Madi Davis, said “Human Trafficking is like Ebola” you don’t think it can happen to you. But after seeing “8 Days”(http://www.8daysfilm.org/) she felt the movie showed how it can happen to anyone. It solidified her commitment to FUV and empowered her to educate others to be safer online and to show them how to get involved.
