The Lyndell Group, an entrepreneur based firm that provides professional and business development along with Area Health Education Center (AHEC) will hold its first Leadership Development Training Workshop on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Edwin W. Monroe AHEC Conference Center - 2000 Venture Tower Drive, Greenville North Carolina. The workshop is designed to provide valuable learning, career and leadership advancing tools for all professional, business and working class participants who want to develop or enhance their leadership skills.

The workshop agenda focuses on helping professionals in mental health, social services or healthcare environments such as social workers, therapists, nurses, counselors, clinicians, and others who would find this program helpful improve their leadership effectiveness and career potential. “The strength of a leader is measured by the ability to facilitate and grow the self-leadership of others within the organization, from all levels and positions. The first critical step of this process is to master self-leadership. If leaders want to lead somebody, they must first lead themselves,” said Brown.
