Dr. Jessica Krant is a board-certified dermatologist and Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American College of Mohs Surgery, as well as Delegate to the American Medical Association, and member of the Board of Directors of the New York County Medical Society. She has been named to Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors, SuperDoctors, New York Magazine’s Best Doctors, Westchester Top Doctors, and Best of Manhattan 2014 in Dermatology, among other accolades. After residency training, Dr. Krant completed an illustrious formal fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery and cutaneous oncology through the American College of Mohs Surgery studying under Dr. Daniel Siegel, former President of the American Academy of Dermatology.
In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Krant serves on Consumer Reports’ Medical Advisory Board as their sole Dermatologist and pursues advocacy work on health policy issues relating to patient access and patient safety. Dr. Krant practices under the philosophy that, as she states, ”Patients don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care,” which has helped her form long lasting bonds with many patients and families over the years.
