Dr. Greg Leyer of UAS Labs recently was invited to speak at the 12th annual Scripps Natural Supplements Pre-Conference seminar on probiotics in San Diego, CA.
The Scripps Natural Supplements Conference is an annual continuing education conference for health care professionals. This year’s pre-conference seminar was held on January 15th and included the topic of probiotics in health. Dr. Leyer spoke about the emerging topics and science in the field of probiotics and prebiotics. He also spoke about the benefits of probiotics in cardiovascular health. This comes with great significance as UAS LABS has recently acquired the probiotic strain Lactobacillus reuteri NCIMB 30242, Lrc™ which has been shown to support healthy cholesterol levels and maintain heart health.
“It was a great pleasure being asked to speak on evidence-based and emerging probiotic research at the Scripps Natural Supplements Conference. Scripps is a renowned leader in integrative health research and education, and the opportunity to educate health practitioners hungry for probiotic supplement information during a highly interactive workshop was very rewarding.”” – Dr. Greg Leyer
