Vir-Sec is introducing the key to internet security with the first ever browser-less internet product designed to eliminate the threat of cyber breaches by removing secure data from public facing websites.

“We’ve developed a parallel and secure internet with no disruption to the industry. All the user needs is the SecureAxcess USB token, everything else is pretty simple.”

Vir-Sec, Inc., a cybersecurity company based out of Clearwater, FL, has developed and patented (U.S. Patent No. 8,074,261; U.S. Patent No. 8,484,701) a browser-less internet application that allows users to connect to web applications and plans to finish development on its first non-intelligence product, SecureAxcess™, this year and deploy commercially immediately.

SecureAxcess™ is the definition of privacy and security. SecureAxcess™ solution enables the user to have full functionality of internet applications without using a web-browser, without installed software, without a website, without caching cookies, without caching temporary data, and encrypting all data served between the data server and the consumer.

SecureAxcess™ allows a company to be able to remove its secure data from public facing websites and only allows access to users with SecureAxcess™ tokens.

In doing so, SecureAxcess™ reduces the attack surface of internal networks to only known users and is completely invulnerable to hacking via a browser by eliminating public facing website logons.

With recent companies experiencing cyber-attacks on their internal networks, Vir-Sec is hoping to join the conversation on protecting data and critical infrastructure from bad actors by showcasing its product and its cyber infrastructure that supports it.

“We’ve developed a parallel and secure internet with no disruption to the industry,” says John Foti, Director of Government Affairs for Vir-Sec. “All the user needs is the SecureAxcess USB token, everything else is pretty simple.”

With much of the policy conversation being centered on cybersecurity, Vir-Sec also hopes that its technology can become a standard for securing data on the internet with minimal disruption to the infrastructure that’s already in place for companies and the government. The Internet is an unsafe environment and SecureAxcess™ is the key to its security.

“Our goal is to make it a necessity that sensitive information and data must not be on public facing websites,” said Foti. “The goal is to provide security, and that’s impossible when secure data is available on public facing websites.”

Vir-Sec is willing to demonstrate its security and invisibility on any Windows compatible device with USB support. When the demonstration is complete, there will be no evidence the session took place on the local device, and the user will have experienced the most advanced internet security technology ever.
