Spaulding Decon opens in Miami, providing crime scene and hoarding cleanup and meth lab testing and decontamination.

We are constantly evolving as an organization and seeking out new and better ways to help those recovering from tragedy. This expansion will allow us to more effectively serve clients in South Florida.

Spaulding Decon, LLC, a fully licensed and certified biohazard cleaning and decontamination business for commercial, residential and industrial locations, will open a new facility on January 20th in Miami. The new office will specialize in meth lab testing and decontamination, as well as crime scene and hoarding cleanup.

The new Miami location will provide clean-up and decontamination services to Broward, Palm Beach and Dade Counties. It is the second Florida office for Spaulding Decon, which provides services statewide.

“We’ve served the Miami area for years. As demand for services has increased, we determined it was time to establish a full-time presence with trained and experienced staff dedicated to the region,” said Laura Spaulding, founder and owner of Spaulding Decon. “We are constantly evolving as an organization and seeking out new and better ways to help those recovering from tragedy. This expansion will allow us to more effectively serve clients in South Florida.”

For nearly a decade, Spaulding Decon has provided professional decontamination cleanup services across the State of Florida, including crime scenes, former meth labs and disaster restoration services. It is also the largest hoarding cleanup company in the state.

Spaulding, a former police officer, founded the company after recognizing the need for a professional cleanup service that handles the most extreme cases. She built the company on the idea that a discrete and professional cleaning service can help reduce the pain experienced from a traumatic event by removing all evidence at the scene.

“This company was founded on the belief that no one should be traumatized twice. We are here to help families and property owners who are dealing with the aftermath of accidents, violent crimes or other situations needing professional cleaning and decontamination,” said Spaulding. “

Crime scenes, hoarding sites and former meth labs often harbor chemical and/or biological contaminations that, unless properly removed, can create significant health problems for a home’s occupants. While some of the more severe cases can appear daunting and costly, Spaulding Decon reminds its clients that its services are covered by most homeowner’s insurance and that no job is too big to handle.
