Tipton Communications, a full-service employee communications, public relations and marketing agency serving corporations and healthcare clients nationwide, announced today it will open a satellite office in Portland, Maine, in the next few weeks to better serve its fast-growing client base in greater New England. To lead the agency’s expansion, Jessica Bryant has been promoted to marketing and communications director, New England.

"Establishing a presence in New England is a natural expansion of our well-established business in the Mid-Atlantic. It will provide our regional clients with localized service and support. Portland also offers a talented and creative workforce to provide us with additional resources as we continue to grow,” said Dan Tipton, president & CEO. “We’re looking forward to partnering with new corporate and hospital clients to help them manage change, build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and raise employee morale.”

Bryant, who joined Tipton in 2010, will serve as Tipton’s local account executive and project manager for all New England-based clients, where she will be responsible for informing, educating and engaging key internal and external stakeholders with integrated marketing strategies and deliverables. She most recently served as a senior communications specialist at Tipton’s Newark, Del., office. In addition to managing agency teams and accounts, Bryant is experienced in handling publications, trade shows and events, change communications management and HR-driven projects.

“We’re excited to have Jessica leading this expansion. In Portland, she’ll continue to deliver high-quality support and innovative ideas to clients—backed with the comprehensive capabilities of our entire agency,” added Tipton. “We have a team of specialists who work together to serve all our client’s needs: writers, editors, proofreaders, graphic designers and project managers. With Tipton, clients get one-stop shopping for all their communication needs.”

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Bryant has a bachelor's degree in mass communication, a minor in interactive media and a business certificate. She currently serves as a member at-large on the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Employee Communications Executive Committee and has been active in the Delaware chapter.

Tipton’s current and past clients with operations or offices in Maine include Bank of America, MBNA, FMC, 4tell Solutions, DecisivEdge, PierVantage and Cordjia Capital Projects Group.
