The Village of Grayslake, Illinois today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Buxton to study the retail potential in the Village’s trade area. Grayslake will use Buxton’s advanced customer analytics to support both retail recruitment and business retention.
While retail economic development programs have traditionally relied on basic demographic information, Grayslake will utilize customer insights that go beyond demographics to present a convincing case to retailers seeking growth opportunities. Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform SCOUT® will give local leaders the ability to analyze retail matches and support development decisions.
