WASHINGTON, D.C. (PRWEB) February 17, 2015 -- GP Tech Labs, a business hub sponsored by Gardner Prescott Technology Ventures and located in the epicenter of Washington, D.C., is now accepting applications for innovative technology and eCommerce companies to join its inaugural startup cohort.

“We established GP Tech Labs to fill a gap in the D.C. startup market,” stated Peter Dodge, founder of Gardner Prescott Technology Ventures. “GP Tech Labs presents a new model for accelerator programs – providing the capital, workspaces, and business community needed for high-potential tech companies to grow and thrive.”

Grounded in the values of collaboration and mutual success, GP Tech Labs provides:
• Capital – GP Tech Labs exchanges rent-free space for the right to invest in future equity rounds. Unlike many other accelerators, it pays for all the stock it receives.
• Office Space – Located in the heart of downtown, in Farragut Square, GP Tech Labs offices feature state-of-the-art conference rooms, floor-to-ceiling windows, and multiple collaboration spaces.
• Community – GP Tech Labs has as co-tenants the Mid-Atlantic Venture Association (MAVA) and Jefferson Education Accelerator (JEA) and regularly hosts venture capitalists and other early stage investors. Portfolio companies are selected for their ability to contribute to the hub community, as well as their likelihood of growing and receiving venture investment.
