Migrate7 8.7 features new enhancements for disaster recovery, backup & restore, and computer migration.

Tranxition announced today that it will launch Migrate7 8.7 at ITEXPO Miami, January 27-30, 2015 at the Miami Beach Convention Center, booth #914. Fully-customizable but ready out of the box, Migrate7 8.7 deeply migrates Windows user settings and files in minutes from operating systems including Windows XP and Office 2003 to any later version of Windows and Office.

ITEXPO is the world’s leading business technology trade show, and will converge education, innovation and networking across the entire community of IT professionals and thought leaders. At ITEXPO, executives, technology buyers, sellers, resellers and manufacturers from companies of all sizes and industries will assemble to forge new business partnerships, collaborate and learn together and from one another. Dozens of conferences sessions, keynotes and panels will be focused on helping attendees move business forward.

Tranxition has so far saved organizations around the world over $1.2B in migration costs – including the largest aerospace companies, governments, law firms, global banks, research labs and many more. In addition to a new enterprise evaluation configuration program that offers up to 45 days with a 5 user limit, Migrate 7 8.7 delivers these key new features:

  • Embedded administration credentials allows migration without requiring user admin rights
  • Deeper support for Windows Terminal Server and Remote Desktop use cases
  • New “show log” button at the end of extraction and injection
  • Up to 3x performance improvements on extraction from previous versions

“There are times in the technology adoption curve when enterprises find it challenging to migrate users to new platforms without sacrificing not only their productivity, but also that of their users,” said Kelly Mackin, founder and chief operating officer. “This new upgrade, coupled with our new Channel Partner Program, puts even more power into managed service providers, IT professional services, and resellers hands, makes powerful migration easier than ever, saving $280 per seat or even more.”

Migrate7 is only $20 per seat for a 1,500 seat migrated system refreshed or migrated. Support updates and upgrades are included in that price for the first year.
