Laguna Hills, CA (PRWEB) January 27, 2015
Allied Medical School, an accredited online career training school serving working and career-seeking adults throughout the world, has announced the launch of an externship for its Medical Administrative Assisting Program.
The externship is an experiential learning opportunity and a way for students to learn more about the day-to-day duties of a medical administrative (front office) assistant. Students will have the opportunity to practice the skills they have acquired in a supervised work environment. Upon completion of the externship, students will utilize their job search abilities and learn how to negotiate for employment.
“With the projected growth in jobs for those entering the medical field, our goal is to make sure our students are afforded every opportunity to achieve real-world success. The addition of the externship for our medical administrative assisting students allows them to do that by putting their skills to use prior to entering into the workforce, “said Allied Schools President, George Achenbach. “We pride ourselves in being one of the few schools to offer these types of learning opportunities for our medical students,” he adds.
Externship placement assistance is provided at no additional costs to all students who successfully complete the Medical Administrative Assisting Program. Externship training is also available in Allied’s medical clinical assisting (back office), medical coding, medical billing and pharmacy technician programs.
