Playa Del Rey, Calif. (PRWEB) February 02, 2015
The feisty 85-year-old stepmother of Sir Paul McCartney has released a new flavor in her line-up of organic and fair trade teas, Mrs. Angie McCartney’s Teas http://www.MrsMcCartneysTeas.com, to coincide with the sure-fire hit movie 50 Shades of Earl Grey released in mid-February.
“We thought we’d have a bit of fun and be ‘naugh-tea’ at the same time," says the British born entrepreneur. “All our flavors have meaning, and offer a new way to introduce some serious quality organic teas to potentially new audiences.”
50 Shades of Earl Grey is made from black tea, cornflower petals, and other natural flavors. It holds a strong Bergamot aroma that is just as pleasing to the nose as it is the taste buds.
A portion of every sale goes to The Linda McCartney Centre - a world leader in breast cancer research based in Angie’s hometown of Liverpool, England.
The firm, Mrs. McCartney’s Organic Teas, based in the seaside town of Playa del Rey, California, also offers:
- Abbey Road Apple
- Liverpool Red
- Penny Lane Peppermint
- Golden Slumbers
- Good Morning!
- Rockstar Rescue
- Blueberry Meanie
- Strawberry Green Fields
- Maharishi Peach
They are also introducing Maxwell’s Silver Needle, a rare high-grade white loose-leaf tea with hints of peach.
"All the teas are certified organic and fair trade and have been handpicked by our certified Tea Master, Dean, to bring the finest pot of tea at the fairest price to tea lovers and Fab Four Fans alike,” said Angie.
National Lampoon chose the beverage as its corporate holiday season gift. “Putting our logo next to Mrs. McCartney and giving the gift of health for the New Year just made all the sense in the world to us. And everyone who has received it has given it rave reviews. We love it yeah, yeah, yeah,” said Alan Donnes, President of National Lampoon.
Other companies that chose the brand for custom logo gifting are LaZarre Wines of Paso Robles, CA and Phoenix based venue management and booking agency R-Entertainment.
