The Studio Optyx business stretches back to the 19th Century and its brands have collectively won more awards than any other in the category.

In 1879 - St Louis, MO - A.P. Erker founded Erker Brothers Optical Company. The company won optical machinery and equipment awards at the Louisiana Purchase Exhibition, served as the official photographer for the 1904 Saint Louis World's Fair and custom designed the goggles for Charles Lindbergh, used in his historic flight over the Atlantic.

In 2015 Studio Optyx is the oldest family-owned optical company in the United States and its president Jack Erker III is the great grandson of the The Lone Eagle’s goggle designer. The company continues to do what it has done for 136 years - innovate to stay ahead.

Studio Optyx has reach across the whole country and beyond, manufactures the latest generation eyewear and distributes incredible European eyewear, amongst them the 3D printed Monoqool Frames and distinguished Italian brand, Derapage. The NW77th brand has become widely popular as well.

With scale comes challenges, particularly of internal communication and access to information.

Studio Optyx searched high and low for an online service that would help them manage their customers better and share information with those in the company that needed it.
