Easter Seals Southern Georgia Waycross Office Receives Donation From Crosby Cadillac GMC Nissan
Waycross, Georgia (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Megan's House received a donation of an accessible van from Crosby Cadillac GMC Nissan. The van is a much needed addition to Megan's House and is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Through sponsoring the Heels & Wheels event the company had become aware of Easter Seals Southern Georgia and Megan’s House. Participants who are associated with Crosby witnessed Miles for Smiles completing the Duathlon & Triathlon with our Megan’s House kids. They didn’t know what the needs were but knew what they had to offer. After a Chamber of Commerce meeting Tara Crosby Morrison ask if a wheelchair accessible van would benefit the Megan’s House kids. The van currently being used was not equipped with a lift which greatly hindered access for the kids. "This van will make the community more accessible for our children who use a wheelchair." say Sara Coggin, the Megan's House Coordinator.
