Scottsdale, Arizona (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Interface, Inc., the recognized leader in force and torque measurement technology, is pleased to announce the hiring of Paul Hill and Chris Delling, and the promotion of Ken Vining.
Paul Hill joins Interface as the new Manager of Operations in the Production Department. He has over 38 years of experience in supply chain and operations. A known change agent with a proven track record of successful team building, process streamlining, quality improvements, cost reduction, and getting things done, Paul brings his “hands-on” approach to the Interface production floor. His impressive list of career accomplishments include: converting a 500 employee plant from
negative to positive revenue in only one year, doubling shipments while reducing costs by 30% at a 900 employee plant in 3 years, and introducing new technologies and products that resulted in a 30% revenue increase. Paul will be responsible for all Interface manufacturing operations including production, materials management and our state-of-the-art in-house CNC machine shop. Interface is excited to have Paul on board to help us meet the increasing demand for our quality force and
torque measurement sensors.
Chris Delling joins the Interface team as the new Regional Sales Manager for the East Coast. He is an engineering sales professional with a wealth of industry experience gained over his 24 year career at companies that include Lebow, Himmelstein, Stress Analysis Services and most recently Vishay. His extensive knowledge of strain gage based force and torque sensors makes him an invaluable asset to Interface’s growing Sales Department. Chris will be based in Detroit in order to spend more time in the field with Interface customers. We are excited to have such a seasoned industry veteran take charge of our fastest growing sales region.
Ken Vining, who joined Interface in 2008, was recently promoted to Manager of Engineering. He has over 30 years of experience engineering load cells, pressure sensors, and strain gage technology, and a proven track record of increasing throughput and quality, reducing scrap, and identifying the true root cause of problems. Throughout his career he has developed an appreciation for design for high volume manufacturing, which will be critical as Interface continues to expand our production capabilities. He was instrumental in Interface’s LowProfile™ Load Cell improvement rolled out in 2014, and continues to work to improve our products and manufacturing processes, and ensure our customers get the quality and accuracy they have come to expect from Interface as a whole.
Please join us in congratulating these three gentlemen as we welcome them to the Interface family.
