New Learning Experience Will Be Introduced at the itSMF Norway Annual Conference with its Service Bazaar Experience

itSMF Norway is bringing a new learning experience to its thirteenth annual ITSM conference in its Service Bazaar. Attendees looking for an experiential learning experience will appreciate the workshops, focused on a single subject with no PowerPoint presentation to sit through.

itSMF Norway, today announced their one-day pre-conference Service Bazaar, a collaborative and engaging learning environment, that is a brand-new addition to the 2015 itSMF Norway Annual Conference program. The pre-conference will take place at the Thon Hotel Oslo on Tuesday, March 3, 2015, with the full conference running from March 4-5, 2015.

The Service Bazaar will feature nine workshops and four sprints where attendees will participate in a hands-on, learning experience with their instructor, rather than sitting in a room watching the speaker present via PowerPoint. Workshops will run an hour and a half and will focus on one, single practice like “how to design a service.”

itSMF Norway is running the Service Bazaar as a pre-conference event and will feature the following workshops from:

  •     Colin Rudd – Service Criticality
  •     Mark Smalley – Guerilla IT
  •     Reni Friis – How to Simplify with Lean
  •     Greg Sanker – Maturing a Basic Change Management Process
  •     Rolf Tamber – Nar alt Brenner…
  •     Lise Dall Erikson – Requesterant
  •     Dave Van Herpen – Easy Agile
  •     Marius Lean – Dra meg na backlengs inn i fuglekassa
  •     David Cannon – Measuring Service Value

Seven of the workshops will be in English and two in Norwegian. Participants will be able to attend four workshops during this afternoon event.

The price for the Service Bazaar will be NOK 6,000 for itSMF members and NOK 6,500 for non-members. This is in addition to the conference registration.

In its thirteenth year, the itSMF Norway Annual Conference will provide an environment where learning and networking is exciting, and itSMF Norway has constructed a program that ensures this will happen. Attendees will leave knowing what is important in the IT service management industry for 2015, and will make lifelong friendships with the movers and shakers of the global ITSM community.
