Max's Taphouse Announces 11th Annual Belgian Beer Festival
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) January 29, 2015 -- Beer lovers take note! Whether you like traditional ambers and lagers or prefer blondes, stouts, triples or even sours, there is something for everyone at Max's Taphouse 11th Annual Belgian Beer Festival set to take place Friday through Monday, February 13th - 16th, 2015 at Max's Taphouse in Baltimore, Maryland from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. each day. Famous for its huge selection of bottled beers, 105 rotating drafts, over 1800 bottled beers and 5 beer engines, this particular weekend Max's will showcase over 140 different Belgian drafts and over 200 Belgian bottles of specialty imported beers, some of which will be making their U.S. debut. In addition, guests will have an opportunity to try Max's authentic Belgian food menu which will be available throughout the day. This event is open to the public. There is no entrance fee. Max's will feature an incredible variety of beers ranging in price from $3.50 - $12.00 for drafts in sample size and full size, and $6.00 - $70.00 in bottles. Some of the beers featured include Cantillon Gueuze, Struise SMONK 2011, Dupon Triomfbier, St. Bernardus Extra 4, Chimay Doree and Alvinne Phi.
This year, Max's Taphouse will feature daily special events with Stillwater Ales, Burley Oak Brewing Company, Oxbow Brewing and Perennial Artisnal Ales. These extraordinary brewers will be featuring Belgian inspired beers, some of which have been made with the assistance of Max's Taphouse staff members.
Max's Taphouse has also opened their beer cave to further entice Belgian beer lovers this year. Max's will sell some very rare bottles beginning Friday morning and continuing through the festival, while supplies last. Specialty bottles such as 3 Fonteinen Oude Kriek 2006, Cantillon Cuvee Des Champions 2005 and Lindemans Faro 2010 are for sale during this festival.
Monday, Max's Taphouse will be featuring sour beers. Sour beers have made a huge resurgence in the world of specialty beers. Max's will feature over 60 sour beers on draft and over 60 sour beers in bottles.
