AMS, the UK’s leading independent supplier of mailing equipment are proud to announce the launch of their latest envelope printer, the AMS Impressia. The laser envelope printer is a high quality digital print solution allowing users to print over 4,000 full colour envelopes per hour at low cost.

Resolutions of up to 2400 dpi for exceptional sharpness, clarity and colour can be reached and the HD Laser Safe toner ensures that colour and tone have depth. With an 80GB Hard Disk Drive print speeds are extremely fast warm-up time is less than a minute and the time to the first colour print is eight seconds when warm. With these features users are able to process direct mail quickly and efficiently.

A license for iQueue 9 colour workflow software is included with the Impressia. This all-in-one digital prepress software includes advanced file management and colour editing tools which enable users to print the exact colours they need first time. Variable data and barcodes can also be produced; a much needed feature in today’s mailing industry.

When purchasing the Impressia printer users also get a moveable machine cabinet, a high speed feeder, exit conveyor and a high powered laptop, pre-installed with iQueue 9 colour workflow software.
