Client Services, Inc. to host its fifth “Donate Your Weight” contest to help benefit the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation while endorsing a healthier lifestyle for its employees.

Client Services, Inc. (CSI) will host its fifth “Donate Your Weight” contest to help benefit the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation while endorsing a healthier lifestyle for its employees.

CSI will donate one dollar for every pound lost by its employees, meaning a larger number of contestants from CSI will result in a more substantial donation. Last year, CSI employees lost 536 pounds in 12 weeks, resulting in a $536 donation to the American Heart Association and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Participants will be granted access to the onsite fitness facility for the duration of the contest. In addition to gym access, there will be “Lunch and Learn” seminars available. “Managing your Weight for Good” will be the first seminar hosted by CSI, while “Muscle in and Take Charge” will be the second. Other seminars will be announced at a later date.

The competition will begin February 6th with an initial weigh-in and will conclude on May 1st with a final weigh-in. Prizes (FitBit Flex and FitBit Zip) will be awarded to the first- and second-place winners. Scores will be based on the total percentage of the weight lost by each contestant from February 6th through May 1st.

CSI is looking to increase last year’s weight lost and donations raised by encouraging more employees to live a healthier lifestyle while benefitting two good causes.
