New York, New York (PRWEB) January 30, 2015
The legal media company Lawdragon Inc. – best known for publishing the annual Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America guide – has announced more than 100 honorees selected for the 2014-2015 edition. The guide covers all major litigation and transactional practice areas and regions of the United States.
The composition of the list changes each year, depending on trends and recent achievements of the nation’s lawyers. The guide includes private practitioners in corporate and plaintiff law firms, corporate counsel, law school professors, government attorneys, judges and nonprofit and public interest attorneys. As in the past, the selection is based on Lawdragon’s editorial research, an open online ballot and submissions by law firms. Lawdragon recognizes a diverse group of legal leaders by gender, ethnicity and practice achievement.
The announcements will continue throughout February. All the attorneys will be featured in the special 10th Year Anniversary Edition of Lawdragon Magazine. The 200-page glossy magazine, which will be available in print and digital displays, includes interviews with the nation’s prominent lawyers and striking commissioned photography.
“We are thrilled to celebrate Lawdragon’s 10th anniversary. This is a special time for us, allowing us to reflect on all the attorneys, colleagues and other friends who have supported our efforts to build a free, forward-thinking legal media company,” said Katrina Dewey, CEO and Founder of Lawdragon. “As a result, it is a particular honor to announce this year’s 500, and recognize the legal pathbreakers, legendary dealmakers, nonprofit standouts, institutional leaders and rising stars.”
