SightCall announced today an exceptional year of growth for its Enterprise Real Time Communications APIs.

Resulting from its commitment to delivering a carrier-grade quality of service (QoS) all over the world, SightCall has become the trusted partner of Fortune 500 enterprises in supporting the increasingly international operations of their customers.

In 2014 more than 1 billion devices were enabled for WebRTC, allowing customers to place video calls directly from a web browser, on any web page without a need to download any extension or plugin. SightCall APIs extend the capabilities of WebRTC, to provide rich user experiences such as the ability to use the back camera of their mobile device to show a problem to a support agent, review and complete complex documents with online experts, or have consultations with a physician remotely.

Enterprises today operate more globally than ever, with nearly all of them supporting their customers from contact centers located in India, the Philippines and other countries around the world. In an effort to bring a global workforce back together with customers, these companies are looking to new ways of communication. This is where the SightCall real time video platform is proving to be instrumental.

These enterprises look for global service providers with the ability to deliver high service quality, support and SLAs on a global scale. They trust SightCall to enable real time interactions with their customers based on its unique global coverage, its operational excellence and the service’s compliance with the privacy and security required.

“Our dedication to owning our worldwide infrastructure and managing our peering and QoS directly with telcos rather than relying on Amazon data centers is being recognized as the right approach. Our strong success with Fortune 500 customers underscores the importance of quality, global service delivery and ability to support any kind of device,” said Thomas Cottereau, CEO of SightCall. “In 2015 we will continue to expand our services on a global scale, enabling real time interactions from any website and mobile application to enterprises who wish to deliver the best customer service experience.”

About SightCall:
SightCall provides the ability to easily integrate immersive communication experiences into enterprise applications. SightCall APIs and SDKs abstract the complexity associated with leveraging WebRTC such as: deploying hardware, authenticating users, auto-adjusting the resolution to the environment or delivering reliable multi-party video chat. It also extends WebRTC to all devices (including iOS) and all web browsers (including IE and Safari), and complements it with additional features, such as remote drawing and cloud recording.
