Remac Group Acquires L’ Amour Des Pieds Luxe Comfort Shoe Brand
Carrollton, Texas (PRWEB) February 03, 2015 -- Shoe and accessory company the Remac Group has acquired the rights and intellectual property of the L’ Amour Des Pieds brand of Luxe Fashion Comfort footwear. In addition to purchasing inventory for immediate delivery, the company will debut the Fall/Winter Collections at FFANY in New York and FN PLATFORM in Las Vegas as well as other regional shows in February.
Industry veteran Wayne Finkelstein will join Remac and remain the overseer of the styling and production of the brand. “The only way we were ever interested in acquiring the brand was if Wayne was included in the deal,” commented Remac President of Sales, Eric Harrison. He continued, “Wayne’s knowledge of the technology and intricacies needed to create wearable, fashionable footwear has been developed over his entire career of shoe making.”
Finkelstein summarized his shoe making philosophy by saying, “My goal is to create footwear that contours to the foot, not feet that have to contour to the shoe.” Among the many unseen advantages of the brand is a patent pending technology that Finkelstein developed for arch support. “The arch support is made to be flexible and molds to a woman’s foot as she wears our shoes. We use proprietary shoe making techniques, which permit the shoe to contour to the foot as the shoe is worn, resulting in a unique comfort experience,” he added.
The shoes will be sold in better grade department stores and independent boutiques across the country as well as online and catalogue retailers.
