Provost Academy Georgia Announces Technology, Curriculum Request for Proposals
ATLANTA, GA (PRWEB) February 01, 2015 -- In an ongoing effort to provide Georgia students with the highest level of academic and educational opportunities, Provost Academy Georgia (PAGA) recently issued two requests for proposals (RFP) for information technology support and for an online curriculum provider. Companies interested in submitting proposals for either must complete the respective RFP by March 13, 2015, by 10 AM (EST).
“Our continued goal is to provide students with a cutting-edge educational experience for both our virtual and blended learning environments,” said PAGA Superintendent and Chief Executive Officer Dr. Monica Henson. “Our focus is improving the academic offerings and platforms, supported by innovative technology enhancements that would best fit an array of learning styles.”
Committed to excellence and improving student achievement, PAGA is a statewide online charter high school serving more than 2,000 students. The District has several blended learning centers and administrative offices that support 68 employees.
Information Technology RFP
PAGA is seeking a highly qualified information technology contractor to manage day-to-day information technology needs, updates, and enhancements at both the PAGA headquarters and the Graduation Achievement Centers of Georgia throughout the state. The ideal firm will be responsible for maintaining all online and wireless support. The scope of work includes but is not limited to computer application support, troubleshooting, network support, database/storage management, telecommunication support, infrastructure security, software/hardware management, Internet management, database management, server management and all other related IT functional areas. Curriculum Provider RFP
PAGA is seeking a highly qualified online curriculum provider with significant experience in delivering a diversified academic offering for K12 learning. The selected company should also have a proven track record of offering high-quality digital content, an innovative delivery methodology for students of various grades and learning levels, and documented state examination-based student achievement outcomes that prove the effectiveness of both. The online curriculum should work effectively for both PAGA’s virtual and blended learning concepts. This web-based academic technology should deliver content while creating an achievable path for students to master an array of state-mandated subject knowledge. PAGA is also interested in a curriculum provider that offers unique and creative electives, approved by the State Board of Education for credit at the high school level, to engage actively the interests of a highly diverse student population.
