Johnson, M.D., M.P.H., Executive Director of the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and Chief of the Division of Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, will be honored for her dedication to advancing women’s health as the 2015 recipient of Linkage’s Outstanding Woman Leader in Healthcare award. Johnson, M.D., M.P.H., is the Executive Director of the Mary Horrigan Connors Center for Women’s Health and Gender Biology and Chief of the Division of Women’s Health at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) where she is responsible for developing interdisciplinary research, education, and clinical programs in women’s health. Dr. Johnson is a women’s health specialist and a pioneer in the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular disease. The Connors Center is a national and international leader in women’s health research, translating research into new models of care and informing health policy. Dr. Johnson is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School as well as Professor of Epidemiology at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
