12th Annual San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival Announces Award Winners
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) February 02, 2015 -- The 12th Annual San Francisco International Ocean Film Festival is proud to announce its 2015 Award Winners - filmmakers whose films inspire audiences with the striking images and delicate vulnerability of the world’s oceans. The SFIOFF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to inspire people to appreciate and care for the ocean by revealing its wonders through independent films. The eight award winners represent five countries and include independent filmmaker Peter Cambor, star of NCIS LA.
“Our award winners embody the spirit of the festival with moving and educational films that capture the diverse beauty of the world’s oceans and marine life. These films’ stunning visuals and expert testimony highlight the ways in which we can work together to conserve and preserve these precious resources,” says SFIOFF Director Ana Blanco.
The festival will be held in the newly renovated Cowell Theater at the Fort Mason Center from February 27 – March 2nd. You can find the full schedule and purchase tickets at http://www.oceanfilmfest.org. Adult tickets are $15, and we provide discounted student tickets at $10.
