Advanced Equine Comfort To Attend 2015 International Hoof-Care Summit
Highlands, NC (PRWEB) February 03, 2015 -- Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC will be at the International Hoof-Care Summit again this year to showcase Easy’s Slipper, the therapeutic glue-on horseshoe that protects and grows healthier hooves for happier horses. For the past 12 months, the company has worked with farriers across the country to improve the product to meet the needs of all types of horses. New sizes and product guidelines will be presented at the conference this week.
“We are thrilled to be back at the summit again,” said Sue Blair, founder and CEO, Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC. “Over the past 12 months, we have seen great success with Easy’s Slipper, and we look forward to sharing the latest findings with the farrier attendees. Last year we had a product. This year we have stories of real horses that are healing with the shoe.”
Recent case studies to be showcased at the conference include the story of Cali, a geriatric thoroughbred with chronic founder who has found relief with Easy’s Slipper. Additionally, Sintar, a horse that underwent keratoma surgery, has healed due to the hoof growth and physical movement promoted by Easy’s Slipper. Because of the therapeutic benefits of Easy’s Slipper, Sintar has seen 1.75 inches of hoof growth post-surgery since November 2014. Both cases will be discussed in detail at booth 602 during exhibit hours.
“We’ve been working with expert farriers over the past year to improve our product,” said Jack Conway, senior research analyst and vice president, Advanced Equine Comfort, LLC. “We’ve adjusted the shoe installation process to ensure the shoes fit and stay on in various weather conditions, and we have created new sizes for mini horses and drafts, which we will showcase at the conference.”

About Easy’s Slipper
Easy’s Slipper®, the therapeutic glue-on horseshoe, provides shock absorption and vibration dissipation to improve joint and bone health, which encourages hoof growth and physical movement. The superior shock absorbency decreases stress on the bones, ligaments and joints, allowing natural flexing of the hoof, resulting in enhanced blood flow and increased oxygenation of the horse’s body. The built-in rocker can be easily adjusted by a farrier for the desired breakover for proper movement and soundness.
