Cornerstone Strategic Partners (CSP), a leading business advisory firm is excited to announce and welcome Gilbert Alba III to the firm as Partner. Alba, an experienced industry executive will help shape the strategic direction of the firm and oversee the firm’s client acquisition efforts.

Prior to joining CSP, Alba worked for Bridgepoint Consulting, a Texas-based finance, IT and management consulting firm where he was responsible for leading strategic efforts to drive client acquisition and partner opportunities.

In 2007, Alba launched the Houston office of SolomonEdwardsGroup (SEG), a national business advisory and professional staffing firm. Alba was practice leader and accountable to drive revenue and firm success by refining its brand and value propositions. He led SEG’s participation in the Houston Entrepreneur of The Year program, Ernst & Young, and worked closely with Houston’s entrepreneurial leaders who were recognized and honored by Ernst & Young.

He brings more than 15 years of experience in business advisory services, organizational effectiveness and a high degree of intelligence, toughness and determination in building a successful firm culture of executed accomplishments. Alba was also recognized in the Houston Chronicle, November 2012 for his advice on what role “face to face networking” plays in the job search process.
