IOFM’s Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo to Feature Two Keynote Speakers for Spring 2015 Conference
Portland, ME (PRWEB) February 04, 2015 -- The Institute of Finance & Management (IOFM), a business unit within Diversified Communications, has announced two keynote speeches for its spring AP Conference, Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Conference & Expo (AP&P2P), taking place May 18-20, 2015 at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts ® Walt Disney World ® Resort, FL.
This spring, the conference will kick off its first day of activities with several workshops, AP accreditation courses, and an opening reception; followed by two full days of training sessions focused on AP best practices and process improvements.
The first of the two keynote speeches will feature Jon Petz, a former corporate executive and top selling author who is also renowned as a motivational speaker and comedian at corporate events and conferences. Petz’s presentation, entitled “It’s SHOWTIME… and Life Isn’t a Dress Rehearsal,” will inspire and motivate attendees to move towards efficiency and making an impact in their personal and professional lives. Petz’s presentation will open the general conference sessions on Tuesday, May 19.
AP&P2P’s second keynote, “Time Management Strategies for AP and P2P Leaders,” will take place in the morning of Wednesday, May 20, and will feature Home Depot’s Senior Finance Manager, Debbie Rich-Walker. Rich-Walker’s presentation will highlight some of her own secrets taken from the transformation of Home Depot’s P2P program.
“Every year we see many returning attendees to this leading industry conference,” said RD Whitney, Vice President of the IOFM. “Our conference program is designed to delve into specific topics within AP so that attendees come away with a toolbox full of new skills, while also intertwining a refreshing amount of inspirational speeches. We want these AP professionals to know how and why they should care enough to take it upon themselves to improve their AP programs,” he added.
The conference agenda features over 50 presentations organized into five pick-and-choose tracks, peer networking roundtables, Meet ‘n’ Mingle meals, certification and testing options, and more.
