Richard Gowland from Rigo Spa commented, “It is fantastic to be recognised by SPATA at the British Pool & Hot Tub awards this year. Taking home four SPATA awards is a great achievement especially alongside such worthy contenders. As the industry body, SPATA’s recognition is a testament to the hard work our entire team has put in over the last twelve months. Our team has strived to exceed all client's expectations, and these awards show the reward for all the hard work and dedication of our incredible staff.”
The awards event brings together BISHTA and SPATA to highlight the achievements of the wet leisure industry, by showcasing the best examples of design, construction, installation and innovation.
Chris Hayes, Managing Director of both BISHTA and SPATA, says, “We congratulate all the winners of the BISHTA and SPATA Awards this year. BISHTA represents over 100 specialist hot tub companies across the British Isles and SPATA represents in excess of 170 companies. As we set our standards high for both trade associations, the award winners keep coming up with even more fabulous entries! The outstanding quality of submissions, this year has certainly created some stiff competition, making it a difficult job for the judges in determining who should receive what level of Award! The high quality of the entries will aid us in showcasing what our members can do for their customers and why it is so important to choose a BISHTA or SPATA member to turn your dreams into reality.”
The awards evening is held alongside SPATEX, the Pool and Spa Show, an event which sees companies from across the UK and overseas, gather to exhibit their finest products and services, along with promoting themselves and networking with colleagues. SPATEX is the UK’s largest and longest running dedicated swimming pool and spa exhibition, holding its 19th annual trade show at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry from 1st to 3rd February.
Hayes commented, “We have been delighted to expand the size of our show in the second year of being in Coventry and are planning for further expansion over the coming years. The Ricoh Arena offers purpose built facilities, which have given us the opportunity to make the show even bigger and better for our exhibitors and visitors.”
