Calypso Communications

We have built a stellar team, filled with talented professionals who consistently raise the bar creatively and help our clients achieve their business goals.

Calypso Communications, an integrated, full-service public relations, marketing, and creative design firm, recently promoted two employees to senior positions in its creative and content marketing departments. Sarah Flaherty has been named director of content marketing and Kelsey Ó Ciardha has been named associate art director.

“I’m thrilled to see Kelsey and Sarah progress in their careers at Calypso,” said Houssam Aboukhater, managing director, Calypso Communications. “We have built a stellar team, filled with talented professionals who consistently raise the bar creatively and help our clients achieve their business goals.”

As director of content marketing, Flaherty will oversee client content production and lead the agency’s inbound marketing offerings using software tools such as HubSpot. An expert writer, Flaherty works closely with Calypso’s creatives and SEO/social media specialists, with a strategic focus on how elements interact to drive traffic to client websites. She has more than 10 years experience developing creative content for various media platforms and clients, including research reports, blogs, web copy, and messaging. Flaherty currently leads content strategy and web copy development for The Fessenden School, a boarding and day school for boys Pre-K-9 in Newton, Mass., which is planning an upcoming website re-launch and developing an inbound marketing strategy.

Ó Ciardha, who previously served as a graphic designer at Calypso, will now supervise the production of creative projects for clients in a variety of media platforms. Now in her third year at the company, she works daily with Calypso’s creative team and content strategists, setting visual direction for projects and managing the production of websites, advertising campaigns, and an array of other client communications from start to finish. Ó Ciardha recently led the Calypso team that redesigned Shields Health Care Group’s website, creating a responsive, mobile-friendly site for New England’s largest network of network of diagnostic imaging centers (http://shields.com/).
