Raritan Bay Medical Center Launches “Picture of Health” Photo Contest
Perth Amboy, NJ (PRWEB) February 03, 2015 -- Raritan Bay Medical Center is proud to announce the launch of “Picture of Health,” an interactive photo contest at the Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge, NJ. The event takes place on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 12 noon to 4 pm. The entire community is invited to participate at the Raritan Bay Medical Center event table located in the lower level center court.
Visitors are challenged to share their best health and wellness tips on hand-written signs created at Raritan Bay Medical Center’s event table. Photos of visitors displaying their signs will appear on Raritan Bay Medical Center’s website and Facebook page where Facebook users are encouraged to vote on their favorite photo. The voting period begins February 11, 2015 and ends February 25, 2015. The top three visitors whose photos receive the most Facebook user “likes” will each receive a $50 gift card.
"Engagement is key when it comes to healthcare, especially when we can create a supportive community to drive positive, healthy behavior. Digital engagement cuts across demographics and it's important for us to make sure we're leading the way for our community," said Community Outreach Manager Michelle Golba-Norek, RN, BSN, MS, CEN, MICN, Raritan Bay Medical Center. “We encourage all visitors to participate and share their best health tips with our community.”
Raritan Bay Medical Center recently expanded its services to the community, including the opening of the brand new Medical Arts Building 2 Hospital Plaza at the medical center’s Old Bridge location that houses world-class physicians and cutting-edge technology. It is home to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Affiliate at Raritan Bay Medical Center, which offers some of the latest advances for treating diabetes and its complications as well as patient education and support services. “Picture of Health” is another way that Raritan Bay Medical Center continues to educate and provide the best possible health care to the community it serves.
