AngelHack Proves that Bigger is Better With Their Eighth Global Hackathon Series
San Francisco, California (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 -- On April 25, 2015, AngelHack will kick off their eighth Global Hackathon Series which, for the first time ever, will take over 50 cities and infiltrate some of the most untapped tech communities worldwide. Over the course of this Series, AngelHack will bring coders together to hack, further accomplishing the goal of bridging the gap between coders all over the world.
This competition is expected to attract over 14,000 developers, designers, and entrepreneurs, which will double the amount of participants from last year’s Series. Like other hackathon Series, AngelHack will be in all the usual staple cities such as New York, San Francisco, London, and Sydney but, unlike other Series, they are expanding to ignite startup communities in places with extremely limited access.
New notable places for AngelHack’s eighth Series include Africa and China, both of which have never been included as part of a global Series, with multiple cities participating from each continent. This is just a small glimpse at the official list that is set to be released in late February of 2015.
“We believe what really distinguishes hackers from the rest, is the unparalleled passion that drives them forward,” said Sabeen Ali, CO-Founder and CEO of AngelHack. Because of this belief, AngelHack is choosing to expand and invite all coders from around the world to compete, create, and develop their ideas and turn them into full-fledged applications. Hence the theme for this year’s Series, “Thoughts Become Things.”
Current sponsors include big tech players such as Dolby, Linode. and, Sinch. For anyone looking to be a part of AngelHack’s eighth Series through a partnership, contact http://angelhack.com/contact/ to collaborate.
