Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet Names New Family Law Partners
Gaithersburg, MD (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 -- Brodsky Renehan Pearlstein & Bouquet, Chartered, one of the top rated divorce and family law firms servicing Maryland and Washington, DC, today announced that three of its associate attorneys, Nicolas Orechwa, Kristina Badalian, and Heather R. Sweren, have been named Partner. Each of the three joined the Maryland family law firm in 2006.
Nicolas Orechwa earned his Juris Doctorate from Loyola University in New Orleans in 2001 after which he practiced as a prosecutor in the New Orleans District Attorney’s Office for three years. Mr. Orechwa is a certified mediator in Maryland and is trained and approved as a Volunteer Mediator/Facilitator with the District Court. In February of 2013 the Montgomery County Council approved Mr. Orechwa's appointment by the County Executive to the Montgomery County Citizen's Review Panel for Children where he will serve until October 2016.
Kristina Badalian earned her Juris Doctorate from American University’s Washington College of Law in 2005. After graduating she clerked in the District Court for Montgomery County serving all sitting judges. She has served as Secretary of the Women’s Bar Association of Montgomery County and as an at-large member of the Women’s Bar Association Executive Committee. She also served as Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Montgomery County Bar Association and was honored as the Co-Chair of the Year in 2014.
Heather R. Sweren earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore in 2005. Following graduation, she clerked for the Honorable William J. Rowan, III, in the Circuit Court for Montgomery County. Ms. Sweren is the liaison to the Montgomery County Bar Family Law Section for the Women’s Commission of Montgomery County. She also serves as a member of the Peer Review Committee for the Attorney Grievance Commission of Maryland.

She graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2010.
