Two Cabinet Members to Speak at Kauffman Foundation’s Annual State of Entrepreneurship Event
Kansas City, Mo. (PRWEB) February 05, 2015 -- For the sixth year, the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation will livestream its annual State of Entrepreneurship Address at http://www.kauffman.org/SOE2015 to provide insight into the most significant factors impacting a key driver of economic growth in the United States: entrepreneurship. This year the key factors are demographic – namely, how the emergence of millennials in the workforce and aging of baby boomers will impact firm formation and growth in the near future.
Held at the National Press Club in Washington at noon ET on Feb. 11, 2015, two Cabinet members will weigh in – Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Small Business Administration Administrator Maria Contreras-Sweet. In addition, a panel of experts and three lawmakers will debate and comment on what policies will either foster or limit the entrepreneurial potential of these two growing populations that represent one of the greatest demographic changes in America.
In advance of the event, the Foundation is inviting Americans to vote on which demographic group they think will have the greatest impact on entrepreneurship and what policy idea will be most beneficial to that group.
Take the Survey. The findings will be announced at the State of Entrepreneurship event via livestream on Feb. 11 starting at noon ET at http://www.kauffman.org/SOE2015.
