Local business and nonprofit law firm Perkins Law, PLLC has signed on as sponsor of a $500 winner-take-all tennis match between two of the area’s top singles players. Willow Oaks Country Club’s Michal Ciszek will face off against Salisbury Country Club’s Cesar Grobel in a special 8-game pro set as the main event of the 7th annual “Friday Night Lights” tennis event hosted by Salisbury Country Club on Friday, February 27.

The evening will also feature a junior exhibition and a round robin featuring top players from Willow Oaks Country Club, Salisbury Country Club, and ACAC. In addition to some great tennis, attendees will enjoy a buffet dinner and a silent auction, the proceeds of which—along with a portion of ticket proceeds—will benefit the Richmond Tennis Association and the Virginia Tennis Association.

“This year marks the fifth anniversary of Richmond being recognized as one of the best tennis towns in America, and the Friday Night Lights event is one of many great tennis events on the RVA tennis calendar each year,” says Eric Perkins. “The Perkins Law team is excited to support the local tennis community, and we can’t wait to see whether Michal or Cesar will take home the big prize.”

A sell-out crowd is expected, but a limited number of tickets remain available for purchase at http://www.richmondtennis.org.
