Hubshout, LLC, a veteran digital marketing firm and SEO agency, just released a new eBook titled "Online Marketing Trends: Ready for 2015." The eBook contains the results of the firm's recent market research, which examined marketing budgets and expectations among small businesses. The survey, conducted throughout December 2014, collected responses from 81 industry leaders and experts in online marketing for small business.

Chad Hill, CEO and Co-Founder, says the survey's results offer an unparalleled look at the biggest marketing trends that will take shape throughout 2015 -- especially those trends that will affect small businesses.

"We compiled this eBook to help small to mid-size marketing agencies best prepare for the online marketing trends that are already beginning to emerge in 2015," Hill says. "Small businesses have very unique online marketing needs and expectations that are often overlooked, with the majority of marketing studies conducted focusing instead on huge corporations. Because smaller agencies are so often overlooked when it comes to market research, we conducted this survey to help them anticipate the trends impacting their specific sector of online marketing."

The eBook, "Online Marketing Trends: Ready for 2015," reveals some of the intriguing results of HubShout, LLC's survey, including small business' marketing budgets, what they paid for websites, the most in-demand services and more.

In 2014, small businesses allocated more than 62% of their budgets toward web development and SEO services. Throughout 2015, these businesses are expected to continue to show strong demand for SEO services and for new websites and innovative web design.

"We were excited to learn that marketing professionals expect growth in marketing budgets and big demand for new websites and SEO," Hill says. "We will be strengthening those offerings to better support our reseller clients."

The survey also revealed the biggest challenges that marketers can anticipate in 2015. Anticipated hurdles include lead generation, service and product effectiveness and quality and competition from other agencies.

"Being aware of potential challenges is a major part of succeeding as a marketer," Hill explains. "It's very useful for our reseller clients and small- or medium-sized online marketing agencies to know about these, as well."
