New NYC Immersion Classes From American Cultural Immersion Help Break The Cultural Barrier
New York, NY (PRWEB) March 22, 2015 -- At American Cultural Immersion, located in New York City, trained in person and online coaches instruct business owners, employees, individuals and students who are struggling or want improvement in workplace English, vocabulary, communication and writing. All programs are tailored to the needs of the organization and the individual. Programs seek to prevent miscommunication due to cultural differences, which can be problematic in business, education and social situations.
The company strives to build success for each client in the workplace and in their interpersonal communication. American Cultural Immersion aims to elevate the quality of life for these individuals as they become more immersed in American culture and society. ACI combines traditional educational techniques with hands on learning by taking the clients out of the classroom and into the community. The professional team offers a confidential, patient and caring approach.
Years of Experience in Diverse Situations
Both large and small organizations have benefited from our immersion training and speech coaching, including clients such as the Food and Drug Administration and the Social Security Administration, as well as private companies. ACI has worked with many non-native English speakers from various ages, experience levels, and cultures around the globe for over 10 years, and has acquired a deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and mental struggle that comes with improving American English accents and fluency. People ranging in age from adolescent students to adult business professionals have profited from ACI qualified communication coaching and tutoring classes, which can be taught in groups or individually, in the workplace, or online.
Adaptable, Individualized Learning Experience
Our coaches use extensive knowledge gained from years of experience and study to determine student strengths and weaknesses. This allows our coaches to develop customized programs to target each unique set of language difficulties and learning styles, for an adaptable and individualized curriculum. The hands-on, organized instruction methods help students utilize their own problem-solving skills, tools, and techniques to enhance existing strengths and bring forth new talent and proficiency. ACI's teaching methods are centered around understanding and patience, for a fulfilling personal learning experience.
“The training program was exactly what we had wanted. Our coach did an excellent job and really understood Spanish culture. Each session was full of new information and helped us to understand our own cultural differences as well as provided us with useful tools to help us be more effective at work and with other Americans.” (Sofia Gonzalez, World Bank)
