Autosoft sponsors original artwork by Hunter Mahan to benefit charity

"It's support like this that allows us to give back to communities across the country."

PGA TOUR winner Hunter Mahan appeared at the 2015 NADA Convention and Expo on Saturday, January 24 with sponsor Autosoft, Inc., to putt a one-of-a-kind painting, which was auctioned off to raise funds for the National Automobile Dealers Charitable Foundation.

Mahan was joined in the Autosoft booth by NADA Foundation Chairman Bob Mallon and Trustee Bruce Kelleher for the special event. The three created a one-of-a-kind painting by putting golf balls dipped in rainbow-colored paints across a 30” x 30” canvas. This original art was offered in a silent auction on January 24, and raised $800 to support NADCF’s programs.

Mahan is an elite player on the PGA TOUR, amassing six career victories and finishing the 2014 season sixth in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. In addition to creating and auctioning the charity artwork, Mahan autographed golf towels and posed with fans for photos after the event.

"We can't thank Hunter Mahan enough for taking the time to join us at the NADA convention in San Francisco," said Bob Mallon, chairman of the NADA Foundation. "It's support like this that allows us to give back to communities across the country."

Off the golf course, Mahan also makes giving back a priority through his own charity, the Mahan Foundation, which supports a number of initiatives focused on health and wellness, children and the military. “I enjoy supporting charitable efforts, and had a lot of fun creating a piece of art that helped raise funds for the NADA Foundation,” said Mahan. “I am proud to partner with Autosoft to raise awareness for such a worthy cause.”

“We were pleased with the response to the event and that we were able to help the NADA Foundation,” said Bryce Veon, Autosoft’s president and CEO. "It was certainly an entertaining way to draw attention to the cause, and we thank Chairman Mallon and Mr. Kelleher for their participation.”
