Financial Poise, The ChamberWise Education Consortium, and West LegalEdcenter are pleased to announce a joint webinar series, “The Start-Up Guide” for 2015. The first episode, “Essential Form Documents and Where to Get Them” premieres on March 10, 2015 at 12pm CT.
Speakers in this series include:
- James Hayes, Gonzalez Saggio & Harlan
- Mary Kohart, Elliott Greenleaf
- Phil Rupprecht, Aiken Schenk
- Drew Whiting, AxiaLaw
As with all Financial Poise webinars, each episode in the series is designed to be viewed independently of the other episodes: think sitcom rather than soap opera. The first episode, Essential Form Documents and Where to Get Them premieres on March 10, 2015.
Clients often mistakenly believe that their service providers should spend 20 minutes on a task that actually requires two hours because they assume that there are “forms” for everything. What clients don’t understand is that a form is just a starting point for a document that needs to be contoured to the specific facts on the ground. Nonetheless, building an excellent form library is critical to building a strong and efficient practice. This webinar will discuss the various documents that commonly need to be drafted for start-ups and where to practitioners can find precedent documents.
The other episodes in the series include those listed below.
- Helping Your Client Raise Capital (April 14,2015)
- Negotiating with Potential Hires (May 12, 2015)
- Negotiating with Potential Investors (June 9, 2015)
