nLIGHT introduced today a new picosecond fiber laser, nLIGHT helix™, the industry’s first programmable pulsed fiber laser for high-precision micro-materials processing applications.

nLIGHT introduced today a new picosecond fiber laser, nLIGHT helix™, the industry’s first programmable pulsed fiber laser for high-precision micro-materials processing applications. The compact, air-cooled system delivers 300kW peak power, picosecond pulse-width and up to 25W average power.

Designed to meet the high-performance and high-reliability requirements for Microfabrication, nLIGHT helix™ is programmable, enabling ultra-stable pulses with highly flexible parameters including burst mode, pulse duration and repetition rate. It utilizes nLIGHT's state-of-the-art 3C® fiber technology to enable unmatched beam quality and stability from a fiber capable of achieving multi-hundred kW peak powers.
