Peter Riegert Stars In Howling Wolf Productions’ and Rabbi David Wolpe’s THE WALK Making Georgia Premiere at the Atlanta Jewish Film Festival
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 09, 2015 -- “The Walk,” an award-winning Aaron Wolf film based on a true story by Rabbi David Wolpe (named America’s number-one rabbi by Newsweek Magazine) and starring Emmy and Oscar nominated actor, Peter Riegert (“Animal House,” “Crossing Delancey,” “Dads”) will make its Georgia premiere at the 2015 Atlanta Jewish Film Festival.
“The Walk,” the latest film from Howling Wolf Productions, centers around a young Jewish boy, Danny, in late 1980s Brooklyn. Despondent over the death of his father, Danny encounters an older Jewish man, Alfred, and they start taking daily walks, during which Alfred shares insights that help the boy heal. But there is a secret that Alfred doesn’t share, which ultimately has a profound impact on Danny more than 20 years later.
“The Walk,” also starring Aaron Wolf and Sawyer Barth, will screen at the festival on Sunday, February 8th at 4:15 PM and Friday, February 13th at 2:00 PM. Following, writer/director Aaron Wolf, who’s walks with his grandfather, Rabbi Alfred Wolf, the film is also based, will be participating in a Q&A. Riegert to attend, pending scheduling issues.
