Jim Schultz, as Head of the Chicago Business Valuation Practice, joins Cendrowski Corporate Advisors. He brings thirty years of experience as a CFO and CPA focused on business valuation, forensic analysis, real estate and tax.

Jim Schultz brings a wealth of experience to CCA’s clients in the areas of business valuations, turnaround, fraud discovery and forensic analysis.

Cendrowski Corporate Advisors (CCA) (http://www.cca-advisors.com), a financial consulting and litigation support firm with offices in Chicago, Ill., and Bloomfield Hills, Mich., is pleased to announce that Jim Schultz has joined the firm as Head of the Chicago Business Valuation Practice.

Jim has over thirty years of CPA experience, including as Principal of his own business consulting firm and as CFO of public and privately held companies. He has also worked with receivers in turning around problem businesses and in the discovery and quantification of fraud.

“Jim brings a wealth of experience to CCA’s clients in the areas of business valuations, turnaround, fraud discovery and forensic analysis.” says Managing Director Harry Cendrowski. “Jim’s leadership will complement and enhance CCA’s business valuation services for entities and individuals while maintaining the core services offered by our firm.”

Prior to joining CCA, Jim was Director of Business Valuation Services at Frost, Ruttenberg & Rothblatt, PC for six years. Jim’s valuation expertise includes estate and gift, sale and/or purchase of interests in closely held entities, cost allocation for acquisition purposes, fair value analysis, S corporation elections, mergers and acquisitions and other business purposes, including litigation related matters and expert witness testimony. His valuations covered industries including manufacturing, retail, wholesale distribution, healthcare, investment partnerships, professional service businesses and real estate ventures and have ranged from small businesses to companies with over $350,000,000 in annual sales.

Jim’s career experience includes serving as CFO of the Taxman Corporation and of Creative Presentations, and as Executive Vice President of East Lake Management and Development Corporation. His additional expertise ranges from business plan development, analysis and projections, IPO’s, secondary offering memorandums, specialized financing vehicles and transactions, syndications and private placements, to bankruptcy and solvency matters in U.S. Bankruptcy Court. As either a principal or consultant, Jim has negotiated numerous transactions from sale-acquisition agreements, leases and financing documents to venture/partnership agreements and debt restructurings.

Jim is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Illinois and California, as well as a Licensed Real Estate Broker in Illinois. He is a Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA), Certified in Financial Forensics (CFF) and a Master Analyst in Financial Forensics (MAFF). After receiving a BA in History from Michigan State University, Jim completed a MSA in Accounting from Roosevelt University.
