“This latest application is yet another milestone for RNA/Mobile MedSoft and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the most comprehensive suite of products for our customers.”
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 10, 2015
RNA Holdings, LLC d/b/a Mobile MedSoft, has announced the successful integration and rollout of the iAMOS Doctor EPCS (Electronic Prescription for Controlled Substances) application. This will allow physicians to easily transmit electronic prescriptions from workstations or mobile platforms to pharmacies.
The iAMOS Doctor application is fully integrated through SureScripts with the ePrescribing for Controlled Substances (EPCS) module within Mobile MedSoft’s Helix Pharmacy System and is fully certified and compliant with all DEA and state regulations related to ePrescribing. The use of this package in conjunction with Helix will help curtail forged and counterfeit prescriptions, reduce medication errors associated with bad handwriting, reduce paper, and improve workflow with safe and secure transmissions between doctors and the pharmacy.
“This latest application is yet another milestone for RNA/Mobile MedSoft and demonstrates our commitment to delivering the most comprehensive suite of products for our customers,” commented Duke Yetter, President & CEO of RNA Holdings, LLC.
“Moreover, the New York Department of Health’s Bureau of Narcotic Enforcement has mandatory requirements that all prescriptions be processed electronically by March 27th, 2015. I am sure many states will soon follow, it is just a matter of time,” he added.
