Jewelry Television (JTV) is challenging gemstone and mineral enthusiasts to test their knowledge by participating in JTV’s Gem Trivia now through March 15. The trivia quiz incentivizes participants with a chance to win a trip for two to the 2016 Tucson Gem and Mineral Showcase®.
JTV’s five weekly quizzes range from classifying various gem families to the history of extraction. Each day participants play JTV’s Gem Trivia, they will be automatically entered for a chance to win a trip for two to the 2016 Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. Participants can also acquire help via links to JTV’s Gemopedia, one of the most extensive gemstone educational resources on the internet, and can play as often as they like until March 15. Prize winners will be selected at random regardless of quiz scores.
“An inherent part of the culture at Jewelry Television is education,” said Jill Johnson, vp of marketing at JTV. “As experts in the industry, we are committed to sharing our collective knowledge. JTV’s Gem Trivia is our way of inviting the public to enhance their knowledge of gems and minerals, while having some fun in the process.”
The Tucson Gem and Mineral Show® has been an acclaimed industry event for over forty years, transforming Tucson into gem city and attracting industry-insiders from around the world. Attendees network with top collectors, manufacturers, and retailers while exploring unique gem and mineral finds with fellow treasure hunters. The experience will be filled with informative seminars, educational exhibits, and extraction sites for gem lovers of all levels.
