Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. and Yoshimura R&D of America Announce Y-Series Product Line for Yamaha 2015 YZF®-R1M™, YZF-R1®, & YZF-R3®
Kennesaw, Georgia (PRWEB) February 11, 2015 -- Yamaha Parts and Accessories, a division of Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A., today announced an exclusive collaboration with leading exhaust manufacturer, Yoshimura R&D of America, to deliver a new line of high performance, emissions-compliant, slip-on exhaust systems custom engineered for Yamaha’s renowned YZF®-R1M™, YZF-R1®, and YZF-R3® sport bikes.
“Yamaha, much like Yoshimura’s® lineage, was born from racing, so it made perfect sense to collaborate on these two technological, race-inspired masterpieces,” said Frank Pittman, Vice President, Customer Support Group, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. “The new Y-Series will feature Yoshimura’s exemplary craftsmanship while maintaining a factory fit for easy installation.”
Demonstrating Yamaha’s continued commitment to their dealer network, the newly announced exhaust systems will only be available from Yamaha’s large network of authorized brick-and-mortar dealers.

Featuring a custom “R” badge, packaging, and finishes that include Stainless Steel, Carbon Fiber, or a mix of the two, the Y-Series builds on Yoshimura’s reputation for performance, unique sound, weight reduction and ease of installation. The first products to come to market in the new Y-Series will be available for the Yamaha YZF-R3, followed closely by the YZF-R1M/YZF-R1.
