Acquisition Will Mean Greater Savings, Better Service for Doggyloot’s Customers Across the US

GreaterGood has announced the recent acquisition of Doggyloot.com, one of the nation’s leading sources for daily deals on a wide range of pet care products.

Through the acquisition, GreaterGood now owns both of the top two pet care daily deals websites in the market, with both Doggyloot and Coupaw.com. Although the two companies will continue to operate as separate entities, they will now benefit from greater efficiency, even better deals and a heightened level of service for customers that comes under the GreaterGood umbrella. In addition, every order placed on Doggyloot will now provide one pound of food to hungry pets in need.

“We are thrilled that Doggyloot has become part of the GreaterGood family, as it is an opportunity for us to provide customers with an even better shopping experience,” said Jeff Eckerling, former CEO of Doggyloot. “Our brand is now in the respected hands of a truly exceptional company in GreaterGood — one that supports an admirable mission of helping animals in need across the United States and beyond.”

GreaterGood is a leader in cause-related e-commerce and Internet funding for charities, offering customers thousands of products every day that help them contribute to feeding animals in shelters through The Animal Rescue Site™, Coupaw.com, and now Doggyloot.com; as sales across all holdings involve some sort of charitable component. The company has donated over $35 million to people, pets, and the planet since 1999.

This recent acquisition means that both Doggyloot and Coupaw will benefit from centralized operations and will be able to pass on greater savings to their customers. Effective immediately, Doggyloot will be headquartered out of the main offices of the FamilyPet Network, a company GreaterGood acquired in mid-2014.

“We are very happy to have both Doggyloot and Coupaw in the same family,” said Tim Kunin, CEO of GreaterGood. “Both of these companies will help us meet our mission of making the world a better place. We are excited to have the opportunity to provide excellent service and outstanding deals to customers, while giving them the ability to support causes that are close to their hearts and ours.”
